Early Artifact Retrospective:
I look back on this early website with fondness as this was my way of taking my coding skills to contribute to something I’m passionate about.
It built to help this missionary couple save money on a website build. They didn’t need anything fancy. Just a nice website they could put on a business card to raise support.
What I learned:
This site was my first project utilizing the Gatsby framework. Of which, gave me an accessible starting point for learning React apps at a high-level.
I am proud of the simple design this website utilized and I’ve carried it forward to future builds.
Looking Ahead:
I actually don’t use Gatsby as much for these particular use cases for individuals or small businesses as I feel WordPress is a strong solution for their needs.
